There was a fire in this building several years ago and the shell of it has remained. I think a construction company is using the space to stage up machinery and materials for a road widening project.
I made it to the end of the month! So here’s a selection of photos I shot the very first day I started the challenge. I’ll have lots of new images to post when I get back from my mini-vacation.
I’m currently travelling and – yes – shooting daily. I look forward to sharing the new images. Since I don’t have the means to easily work up and upload my daily takes, I’m sharing some images I never got around to posting from earlier in the challenge.
Today’s set is the broken overpass on Highway 21. This section of roadway collapsed nearly two years ago during the thousand-year flood of 2015. It’s still not fixed, although I believe repairs are coming soon. I used to travel this road daily, so this bridge was a constant reminder of the flood event.
Another work-related trip into the swamp found me exploring some unique locations and left me with a collection of vicious bug bites.
Just a selection of the randomness of a trivia night at our favorite bar.
